6th Workshop ELI – Lyon 2019

Which Future for Follicular Lymphoma?

We were happy to welcome about 70 participants in Lyon for this Workshop dedicated to the Future of Follicular Lymphoma.

The first session was dedicated to new endpoints and prognosis factors in FL and the second one to histologic transformation in FL. This was the occasion to present the Aristotle study which stems from ELI’s 3rd Workshop in Madrid in 2015.

The participants met for dinner in La Brasserie des Confluences. This place offers a nice view on the rivers associated with a modern seasonal cuisine.

The second day was focused on the future of treatment and the possibility to reach the cure. Immunotherapy and targeted therapy offer a tangible hope for the cure but the audience remained divided on this anticipation!

This event was a success bringing together experts of the field, members of ELI Steering Committee, students and projects managers from LYSARC and CALYM. Next edition is planned for Spring 2020, to be followed!
