ELI as part of its mission to promote education and training of lymphoma caregivers proposes to finance short study stays in European lymphoma centers.
The goal for the candidate is be to be acquainted with the working methods, the medical and scientific organization, and the schemes of care of lymphoma patients in a foreign hemato-oncology department specialized in lymphoma but also to establish professional and friendly relationships between practitioners caring for patients with lymphoma across Europe.
In 2024, 5 short stays have been awarded in the following centers:
- Hospital San Raffaele in Milan, Italy (Dr. Prof. Andres Ferreri)
- Saint-Louis Hospital in Paris, France (Prof. Catherine Thiéblemont)
- IOR in Bellinzona, Switzerland (Prof. Davide Rossi)
- University of Turin, Italy (Prof. Silvia Morbelli)
The stays last from 2 to 4 weeks, with up to 3000€ grant from ELI to cover transportation and accomodation expenses.
The 2025 call for proposal will open in the spring.
